Phyllis finally retired, at age 79, to her beloved little place outside Llano, where she enjoyed the peace and quiet and the Dallas Cowboys. Her little brother, Alvin Woods, said how Phyllis was there for him whenever he was in any kind of trouble, with whatever he needed.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dusty Lockhart, Toby Lockhart, Casey Irvin, Stormy Irvin, James Lockhart, Tony Irvin and Bryce Mc Glothlin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from PM to PM at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano.
Graveside Services will follow at PM at the Llano City Cemetery with his son Jeff Westbrook officiating.
His Kena Klown unit participated in numerous parades, including the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington, DC each spring.
